George Hyland, a 29-year-old male from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on September 23, 2021. According to reports, George Hyland was standing near the sidewalk in the 2200 block of South Kolin Avenue when he was approached by an unknown assailant who pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots. Hyland was struck in the chest and was immediately transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
