On a cold January evening in Baltimore, the life of 39-year-old Dominic Wynn was tragically cut short. A Black male, Wynn was discovered by police on January 15, 2024, at approximately 9:19 p.m. in the 2800 block of Mayfield Avenue. Officers had been dispatched to the location after a ShotSpotter alert indicated gunfire in the area.
Upon their arrival, they found Wynn suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead right there on the street. The initial investigation by the Baltimore Police Department's Eastern District revealed that Wynn had been shot in the upper body and head.
As of now, the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the homicide.
