Stanley Mech, a 61-year-old male from Cairo, Illinois, was tragically found deceased inside his vehicle on October 30, 2021. The discovery was made along Route 3 in Klondike, Illinois, at approximately 12:15 a.m. The Illinois State Police (ISP) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) – Zone 7 was called in by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Department to investigate the incident.
