William McGee, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 11, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. McGee was fatally shot during a carjacking incident in the Pullman neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near the 900 block of East 98th Street. McGee, a senior at Excel Academy, had just won homecoming king and was looking forward to graduating and enlisting in the military. On the day of the incident, McGee was targeted by carjackers ...
