Death by Force

Monterey Mitchell, a 33-year-old man, was fatally shot on November 15, 2018, in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood of Chicago. He was standing on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South Paulina Street when a light-colored SUV pulled up, and someone inside fired multiple shots at him. Mitchell was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner's office later confirmed that he died from multiple gunshot wounds.
