Todd Taylor, a 42-year-old African American male from Joliet, IL, was tragically killed on January 29, 2022. He was fatally shot four times in the upper body while sitting inside a parked vehicle on Oscar Avenue, near Gardner Street on Joliet's east side. The incident occurred outside the city limits, prompting the Will County Sheriff's Office to lead the investigation. Taylor resided in the 600 block of Elmwood Avenue in Joliet.
