Brian Deon Byrd, a 24-year-old African American male from Joliet, Illinois, tragically lost his life on December 23, 2016. Byrd was killed as he was driving home from last-minute Christmas shopping. He was shot in the head and crashed into another car before succumbing to his injuries at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center.
