Folashade Mordi, a 25-year-old African American woman from Bolingbrook, Illinois, tragically lost her life on March 18, 2022, in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. Mordi was shot while driving in the 2400 block of South Homan Avenue around 11:45 p.m. She had just arrived to visit her boyfriend and was parking her vehicle outside his apartment when an unknown assailant fired shots into her car.
