Jeremy Venson, a 33-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2022, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when Venson was driving in the 4200 block of West Madison Street in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. According to reports, someone opened fire on his vehicle around 6:40 a.m., striking him on the left side of his body.
