On August 9, 2023, Jajuan Jarmon, a 17-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was fatally shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. when Jarmon was near an alley in the 1100 block of West 78th Street. He was shot in the head and chest by an unknown assailant.
