Imani Aditalib, a 24 year old Black woman from Chicago, was riding in the back seat of a car in Chatham late on June 8, 2022, when gunfire tore through the night.
Around 11:50 p.m., on the 900 block of East 82nd Street, someone opened fire on the vehicle, striking the 24 year old in the head.
She was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead there; the driver and another passenger were not injured. Police reported no one in custody in the immediate aftermath. ...Read More
