Prentiss M.D. Jackson Jr., an 18-year-old African American male from Champaign, Illinois, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:48 a.m., when Champaign Police responded to a report of a shooting on the 900 block of W. Bloomington Road.
