On October 11, 2009, Dion Brandon Jones, a 35-year-old male from Baltimore, Maryland, was fatally shot in an incident that occurred in the Northern District. At approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 500 block of Richwood Avenue, where they found Jones suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.
