Vernon Richards, a 54-year-old Black male from Baltimore, Maryland, was killed after gunfire broke out in the city’s Central District on April 1, 2026. The shooting happened in the early afternoon, around 1:09 p.m., in the 800 block of North Eutaw Street, where Baltimore police said officers were called for a report of a shooting and found two men wounded.
