Martin Brooks, a 42-year-old African American male from Baltimore, Maryland, was convicted and sentenced for the murder of Carmen Rodriguez, a 44-year-old Latina mother of four. The incident occurred on December 22, 2019, inside Kim's Deli and Grocery in East Baltimore, just days before Christmas.
