On April 11, 2024, at approximately 7:57 am, Southern District patrol officers in Baltimore responded to the 3400 block of Spellman Road for a report of a shooting. Devon Thomas, age 27, was shot and killed at this location in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of Baltimore.
