Villani Campbell, age 22, was killed on December 20, 2017, in Baltimore, Maryland. Campbell was shot in his car on the 800 block of West Lexington Street, in what was described as a targeted attack. The shooting took place in the Northwest District, and Campbell was found dead at the scene. His death was one of many that contributed to the significant homicide tally of 2017, a year that saw a total of 343 homicides in Baltimore, marking it as one of the deadliest years on record for the city.
