In the spring of 2016, the life of 18-year-old Dayshawn Cole, an African American male known to some as "Day Day," was cut tragically short in Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of March 11th, in the rear of the 1500 block of North Gilmor Street, Cole was shot. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Despite medical efforts, Dayshawn Cole succumbed to his wounds two days later, on March 13, 2016.
The Baltimore City Police quickly began an investigation into the fatal shooting, seeking any information that could lead to the person or persons responsible for his death. Authorities reached out to the public for assistance, hoping for tips that might shed light on the circumstances surrounding the murder.
