In the early hours of a summer morning in Baltimore, Maryland, tragedy struck. On July 25, 2024, at approximately 12:39 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Garrison Boulevard following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered 36-year-old Calvin Williams suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services were promptly called to the scene and transported Williams to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Calvin Williams succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The incident was subsequently classified as a homicide, prompting an investigation by homicide detectives.
In the wake of the shooting, the Baltimore Police Department has appealed to the public for assistance. They are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to come forward and contact homicide detectives or to leave an anonymous tip with Metro Crime Stoppers.
