In the winter of 2016, a burst of violence shattered the cold Baltimore air, claiming the life of 28-year-old James Dankins. On the afternoon of January 7th, in the 1100 block of West Saratoga Street, the sharp crack of gunshots echoed through the neighborhood. When the sound faded, Dankins was left lying on the pavement, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
