On June 25, 2016, 23-year-old African American male Tyriece Travon Watson, known professionally as "Lor Scoota," was fatally shot in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred around 6:56 p.m. as Watson was driving eastbound on Moravia Road at the intersection with Harford Road, shortly after departing a charity basketball game he had hosted at Morgan State University promoting peace in the community.
