In the summer of 1973, the life of a young man was tragically cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. On August 18th, Johnny Levitt, a 33-year-old Black male, was found deceased in a driveway at 957 Blue Ridge Avenue. He had been fatally shot, his death marking another grim statistic in the city's history of violence. The discovery of his body prompted an investigation by the Atlanta Police Department, who classified the case as a homicide.
