John C. Collins, a 24-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on February 17, 1991, in Hall County, Georgia. Collins was a college student at North Georgia College and worked as the night manager at a Domino's pizza store near Gainesville, Georgia. On the night of his death, Collins was working his shift when Stephen Anthony Mobley, a 25-year-old white male, entered the store with the intent to rob it. Mobley shot Collins in the back of the head, resulting in his immediate death.
