A dedicated educator's life was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence within the halls of a Decatur, Georgia high school. Horace P. Morgan, Jr., a 48-year-old male English teacher, was shot and killed on the morning of September 25, 1996, at what was then known as McNair Senior High School.
