Horace P. Morgan Jr., a 48-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 25, 1996, in Decatur, Georgia. Morgan was an English teacher at DeKalb Alternative School, a facility for students who had been expelled from other schools in the suburban Atlanta county.
