Jaime Cruze Resendez, a 25-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on November 8, 2004, in Moultrie, Georgia. The incident was part of a horrific mass murder that claimed the lives of five individuals, including Jaime's wife, Katrina "Tina" Darlene Resendez, 29, their 3-year-old son, Juan Carlos Resendez, Tina's mother, Betty Watts, 50, and a 30-year-old Hispanic woman named Liliana Alegria Aguilar, who worked as a babysitter and housekeeper for the family.
