Phillip Wade Roberts, a 36-year-old man, disappeared on May 3, 1982, from Grand Saline, Texas. That morning, Roberts left his home between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. to head to his job as a security officer at Holly Lake Ranch in Hawkins, Texas. He never arrived at work and was never seen again. Four days after his disappearance, his car was found abandoned in a pasture off Caney Creek Road, north of Grand Saline. There were no signs of a struggle or any clear evidence at the scene.
