An African American woman, Kendra was a mother to two young children, Mykel Wise and Janiah Borders. Remembered by her loved ones as a vibrant and loving individual, her sudden death on November 5, 2009, sent ripples of shock and sorrow through her community.
Initially, the circumstances surrounding Kendra's death were unclear when she was found deceased. However, as law enforcement delved into the case, the investigation took a dark turn, and it was soon reclassified as a homicide.
