Michael Stephan Vogt, a 56-year-old white male, was a lieutenant with the Chattahoochee Hills Police Department in Georgia. On February 15, 2010, he was tragically killed while investigating a suspicious vehicle parked on Vernon Grove Road, a dirt road in a rural area of Chattahoochee Hills.
