On January 3, 2024, Kenneth Cunningham II, a 40-year-old resident of Smyrna, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed on the morning of his 40th birthday. The incident occurred when a jealous ex-boyfriend of the woman Kenneth had recently started seeing drove over an hour to Kenneth's residence, disguising himself as an Amazon delivery driver. Upon arrival, the perpetrator shot Kenneth in the back eight times as he attempted to flee.
