In the late hours of July 17, 2022, the life of 21-year-old Jason Stephen Escoffrey was tragically cut short. A native of Rockdale County, Georgia, the young man was discovered near the swimming pool of the Highlands of West Village apartment complex in Smyrna, Georgia, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 11:15 p.m., and Escoffrey was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. At the time ...
