In the winter of 2014, in Columbus, Georgia, the life of a 44-year-old African American woman named Tonya Moses-Charles was brought to a tragic and violent end. On February 21st, she was found deceased inside her residence, the victim of a brutal assault that would unravel a story of domestic turmoil and ultimately lead to a life sentence for her husband.
