Malcolm X. Mitchell, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 20, 2014, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early afternoon at the intersection of Waters Avenue and East 38th Street. Mitchell was shot and subsequently transported to Memorial University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The circumstances surrounding his death were immediately subject to investigation by local authorities.
