Robert Brown, an 18-year-old from Savannah, Georgia, tragically lost his life on November 14, 2015, in a shooting that occurred at West 45th and Montgomery streets. The incident, which took place around 2:30 a.m., also claimed the life of 31-year-old Emmanuel Simmons, who was pronounced dead at the hospital following the shooting. Brown's death, part of a wave of gun violence in Savannah, left the community in shock.
