Christopher Bobbitt, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2014, in Austell, Georgia. The incident occurred during a botched drug deal on Cardell Road, where two groups, including gang members, met with the intention of robbing each other. The confrontation escalated into a shootout, resulting in the deaths of Christopher Bobbitt and 20-year-old David Blount from Smyrna. The exchange of gunfire also left two others injured.
