Kenneth Collier Jr., a 17-year-old anti-gun violence advocate, was fatally shot on January 9, 2025, at approximately 8:22 PM at the Residence at Riverside Apartments located at 360 Riverside Parkway in Austell, Georgia. When police arrived at the scene responding to reports of gunfire, they found Collier suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
