Dreyon Mathis, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2021, in Austell, Georgia. The incident occurred at a residence on Peel Castle Lane, where a domestic dispute escalated into a deadly shooting. Dreyon Mathis and his 8-year-old son were both found with gunshot wounds when police arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, Dreyon Mathis was pronounced dead at the scene, while his son succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.
