The fatal encounter unfolded at the Birch Landing Apartments on Maxham Road in Austell, Georgia, where a dispute over reckless driving escalated into a tragic and irreversible outcome.
Eyewitnesses reported that Chambers had approached Mark Wayne Munn, 34, about his fast and dangerous driving within the apartment complex. Chambers, concerned for the safety of the residents and visitors, urged Munn to slow down. This seemingly reasonable request ignited a verbal altercation in the parking lot that quickly turned deadly. In a shocking turn of events, Munn produced a weapon and fired, fatally wounding Chambers.
