Anthony Terrell Tavarez, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 16, 2015, at the Windwood Apartments in Austell, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:30 AM, when police responded to multiple calls reporting gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Tavarez with fatal gunshot wounds in the breezeway of the apartment complex.
