Tommy Mims, a 68-year-old African American man, was tragically murdered on November 26, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mims was homeless and was sleeping under a railway bridge when he was shot multiple times by Aeman Presley. Presley, who had moved to Atlanta earlier that year, was driven by a self-described "bloodlust" after committing his first murder. He initially intended to rob people but found a perverse thrill in killing, which led him to murder several individuals, including Mims.
