In the bustling heart of downtown Atlanta, on a December evening in 2024, the life of 18-year-old Dexter Devaughn Hoefer Savage Jr. was tragically cut short. The young man was in a parking lot on Nassau Street, near the State Farm Arena, engaged in the entrepreneurial spirit of selling T-shirts to concertgoers. An argument erupted with another vendor over a coveted selling spot, a dispute that would have fatal consequences.
