Clendon L. Sims, a 51-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, died on December 3, 2014, following a shooting incident during an attempted burglary. The incident occurred on Ashford Creek Drive in Brookhaven, a suburb of Atlanta. According to reports, Sims was shot by a homeowner while attempting to burglarize the residence. He succumbed to his injuries a few days later, on December 8, 2014.
