In the autumn of 1998, a business trip to Atlanta for a Falcons game turned into a tragedy for Phillip Dover, a 31-year-old white male from Gainesville, Georgia. On October 18th, he and two business associates, 51-year-old Ronald Gutkowski and 50-year-old Gerrold Shropshire, were found deceased in their room at the Atlanta Hilton & Towers by a housekeeper.
