David Rashamel Goldwire, a 23-year-old African American male, was found deceased on January 17, 2015, in the yard of a duplex located on the 2100 block of Clars Avenue in Savannah, Georgia. The Savannah-Chatham police responded to a shots-fired call at approximately 6:47 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Goldwire's body, indicating he had been fatally shot.
