On June 19, 2025, Jorge Luis Chico-Sanchez, a Hispanic male, age 39, was found shot inside a residence on the 2100 block of Gable Street in Savannah and was pronounced dead at the scene. Savannah Police said officers responded to a report of a person shot and discovered the adult male victim inside the home, where he died before he could be transported.
