Cedric Jamal Ryce, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. Cedric was found dead alongside his girlfriend, Shenika Freeman, in a parking area outside the Towne Air Freight warehouse in Clayton County, where he worked. The couple was discovered after employees heard screaming followed by gunshots around 1:30 p.m. that day. Both Cedric and Shenika had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, and a single weapon was recovered at the scene.
