Corey Willis, a 36-year-old African American male, was found dead on April 20, 2015, in Americus, Georgia. His body was discovered alongside that of Quanesha Brown, a 24-year-old African American female, by a relative of one of the deceased. The discovery was made around 9 a.m., and both victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. The tragic incident shocked the local community and prompted an immediate investigation by the Americus Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).
