Darrius Torone Grier, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2019, in Americus, Georgia. According to reports, Darrius was shot while getting out of his car. He was subsequently transported to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The incident left the community in shock and mourning, as Darrius was known to be a beloved member of his family and community.
