Lynwood Kleckley Williams, 36, a Black man from Americus, Georgia, was killed in a shooting on February 17, 2018, after what began as a personal confrontation and turned deadly in the 200 block of Waitsman Drive. Police were called that Saturday afternoon and found Williams and another man, Winfred Floyd, both wounded and lying in the street.
