On a Saturday evening in May of 2015, a domestic argument in southwest Atlanta escalated to a fatal conclusion, ending the life of 49-year-old Michael A. Preston Sr. The shooting occurred on May 16th on the 3000 block of Highbury Trail, right in front of the home of his girlfriend, Temeka Jones.
