Derrick Khunta Booze, a 38-year-old African American male, died on May 25, 2015, in Macon, Georgia. His death was a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, occurring shortly after he was identified as a person of interest in the murder of his girlfriend, LaSmockie Fountain. Fountain, a 30-year-old African American woman, was found dead in her yard on May 23, 2015, with a gunshot wound to the head.
